Chelsea lost to Dynamo Zagreb tonight.

We really are the only team that would stick 10 men behind the ball against them, aren't we? They're fucking pony at the minute.

So, despite most of the footballing world thinking this was an outrageous decision, and also the VAR panel coming out and saying they got it wrong (Yeah, thanks for that you bunch of fuckwits), Souness reckons it was a foul? Souness can fuck right off.

And we want ex players on the VAR panel??

Bowen's attempt to avoid Mendy was made harder by Mendy sliding into him and giving him less space to (ahem) get his leg over.

Love to know how Souness thinks anyone can jump over anything without showing the bottom of your foot. bunny hop maybe, that would make the Olympic 100m hurdles final interesting!

Think thats now 4 people ... the referree , the VAR , Tuchel & Souness that think its a foul.
Get the impression with Souness that he feels like he has to come up with outrageous opinions to safeguard his job at Sky.
Like all the Scouse media he is ONE EYED & talks bollocks. As said you know his opinion would be different if that was a Liverpool incident

Listen, if it's Fabianskiand Salah, Souness would be calling for a penalty for Liverpool.

Souness must be a wind up? “ Showing studs”. :-). It was the top of his boot that brushed Mendy’s hip as he tried to avoid him. Bowen was running so could not stop. If he could of somehow it would arguably been a penalty but also ignored.

Ex footballers of Souness’s generation missed out on a proper education but no excuse for being that dense. The man is an imbecile to say what he said but because he is an imbecile he would not know it :-)

The problem of poor decisions is also linked to players and managers cheating / conning , doing anything to win. Big money encouraging all of that and I know you should not say it but the play acting was part of the game in South American and Mediterranean countries decades ago. That culture of conning or cheating is seen as a part of the game and applauded by coaches and fans. With globalization and to accommodate the various nationalities in the Premiership and more importantly ensure the non UK subscriptions ( sorry I mean fans ;-) ) keep rolling in and growing, everything possible is done to ignore the cheating and diving. And even more important for the subscriptions and growth of the game is making sure those rich 4 and tge 2 wannabes ( Arsenal and Tottenham) are winning things or at least in tge top 6 every season. It’s going to lead to everyone involved in the game ( pundits, media, players, managers) being reluctant to call it out and bizarre comments from the likes of a Tuchel saying it was definitely a foul in the keeper. The words dishonest and corrupt sum up the game. Money, capitalism and consumerism driving everything in life. Only when ur older you realise it’s all a con.

Mendy deserves the vitriol and derision of every football fan as does Tuchel. But of course it will be forgotten by tomorrow

Going to be quite an atmosphere when we play those cunts at home.

Course not. Swap Antonio for a Liverpool player and that's not a foul either.

Wonder actually if the reason he has such a dislike for Rice and wants to push him away from CM was because he's taken Henderson's place for England?

And as mentioned previously, how can anyone claim a man who signed Ali Dia has any credibility anyway?

He had the cheek to say it was dangerous play with a raised boot showing his studs.

Swap Bowen for Salah, Cornet for Firmino and West ham for Liverpool and I wonder if Souness would still think it's a foul?

No, I didn't think so.

Valid point given his very contradictory 'man's game' rubbish. Just adds up to some sort of grudge/dislike, as far as i can see it.

So one of the dirtiest cunts of his generation and someone who reckons football is a "man's game" reckons THAT was a foul?

I'm calling bullshit on that particular one.

Souness really seems to have it in for us, for some reason. he also was the only one on the panel in the Forest game and in general who was adamant that Antonio fouled their defender for that goal. This one is far more baffling though, given the absolute strength of opinion everywhere to the contrary.

he's also got this weird fascination with bashing Rice and insisting he's only capable of being a centre back rather than a midfielder.

Proper chip on his shoulder regarding West Ham. I really don't understand why. i don't really understand why he's on television. Dinosaur that brings nothing to the table.

I can't think of Souness without thinking of George Weah's cousin.

Souness is an idiot, whose only hope of a job is to appear controversial. His agent probably worked this out for him.

Shock the cunt that is Souness just said it was a foul by Bowen on Mendy.
Goes on to say they need x pros in the VAR room.

I thought Rice’s goal(s) celebrations and post match comments actually were more likely to piss off Chelsea players/fans
